Hogwarts Legacy delivers a magical open-world adventure filled with secret chambers, ancient lore, and intricate environmental puzzles that challenge a player's spatial awareness. Among the most complex side activities available within the castle grounds are the Depulso Puzzle Rooms, which become accessible after completing specific relationship quests with Herodiana. Navigating the second trial requires precise knowledge of how individual block configurations interact with your targeting spells.
Entering the Second Secret Chamber
To locate this hidden challenge, you must navigate to the long gallery section of the castle and look for an unadorned stone brick wall. Casting a standard force spell on the conspicuous geometric switch hidden nearby causes the stone layout to shift open instantly. Stepping inside reveals a massive subterranean arena filled with metallic cubes that slide dynamically across fixed metallic tracks on the floor.
Before attempting to manipulate the layout, it is helpful to stand near the entrance platform to observe the entire room layout from a higher perspective. Understanding the starting position of each movable element allows you to plan your spellcasts methodically without resetting the entire room layout multiple times. This trial relies entirely on your mastery over both the pushing and pulling force charms learned during your charms classes.
Navigating the First Treasure Chest Path
Your first objective in the grand chamber is to reach an elevated stone ledge hosting an optional treasure chest filled with rare gear. To accomplish this, stand on the left walkway and cast Accio on the large double-cube assembly positioned on the far right wall. Once the block glides across the room, target it with Depulso to drive it directly into the left corner where it connects with a stationary block.
This layout creates an extended stair formation that allows your character to scale the smooth vertical surface effortlessly. Climb up to open the container, securing your rewards before focusing on the main exit portal across the chasm. Navigating these magical ruins is much simpler when you treat each geometric adjustment as a deliberate building step toward your final goal.
Assembling the Main Path to the Exit
After collecting the initial loot, you must reset the room layout by hitting the glowing crystal switch on the wall with a basic cast. Turn your attention to the massive central column of cubes and use Accio to pull the horizontal block configuration toward the main entrance wall. Next, pull the vertical column on the right side over to the left so it merges cleanly into a larger mobile platform.
Push this newly formed massive structure toward the far exit wall using a well-aimed force blast. This creates a solid landing zone that bridges the gaps between the lower floor tracks and the high exit platform. If you ever make a wrong calculation during this sequence, hitting the reset crystal allows you to restart the process instantly without penalty.
Completing the Final Vault Traversal
With the main blocks securely anchored against the far wall, you must position yourself on the stone pillars to prepare for the final crossing. Leap carefully onto the customized metallic structure and pull it slightly back toward your position to close the remaining gap. From this stable vantage point, a final leap allows your character to catch the edge of the stone doorway and pull themselves up safely.
Stepping through the opening portal updates your exploration log and rewards you with a unique cosmetic appearance item for your gear collection. Completing these optional trials showcases your wizarding prowess and ensures your character is fully prepared for deeper dangers outside the castle walls.
